Led development of concept, branding, business plan and grant applications for luxury hotel concept targeting HNW visitors to region. Situated in South Wales, the first property was a quirky 1920’s sea captain’s house with breathtaking sea views which lent itself perfectly to concept.
Worked closely with design team to create impactful brand identity which was sympathetic to building and it’s heritage
Meticulous management of hotel positioning ensuring that all functions met Five Star rating with Frette linens, Osborne & Little and Neisha Crosland wall-coverings, Wedgwood china, Schott Zwiesel crystal and Robert Welch cutlery
Detailed online presence with room maps and imagery to give customer 360 view of individual rooms’ design; along with integrated reservation functionality for seamless connectivity to front office system
Preparation of monthly financial reports to Investors, Welsh Assembly Government and Private Bank
Responsible for social media & CRM campaigns including launch of loyalty card to grow database locally
Identification of marketing partners to build credibility through association including Mr & Mrs Smith, Conde Nast Johansens, Tablet Hotels & Chic Retreats
Positioned hotel as ‘the place to stay’ attracting ‘A’ list celebrities e.g. Benedict Cumberpatch, Kylie, Pet Shop Boys, Samantha Morton, Keeley Hawes & Matthew McFadyen, built relationships with specialist tour agencies & talent managers
